This site uses cookies. We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out below in our Cookie Policy.

Cookie policy

In order for this site to function properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most Sites do this.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the website. It allows the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login details, language, font size and other display preferences) over time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them every time you return to site or navigate from page to page.

How do we use cookies?

We use local, first-party cookies to make booking our events easier for both us and you. We also use third-party cookies from Facebook and Google Analytics to ensure targeted and relevant marketing campaigns .

Why do we use cookies?

We use as few cookies as possible because we strongly believe in privacy. However, the ones we have implemented help us see which workshops and courses are most popular, count visitors to a page, improve our users' experience, keep our services secure, provide relevant advertising and overall, to provide you with a better, more intuitive and satisfying experience. It also helps us analyze how you use our website, which in turn helps us troubleshoot any problems and monitor our own performance.

There are two types of cookies:

Session cookies (transient): These cookies are deleted when you close your browser and do not collect information from your computer. They usually store information in the form of an identification session that does not personally identify the user.

Persistent (permanent or stored) cookies: These cookies are stored on your hard drive until they expire (that is, based on a set expiration date) or until you delete them. These cookies are used to collect identifying information about the user, such as web browsing behavior or the user's preferences for a particular site.

Take a look below to see what type of cookies we have on our site:

svSession - persistent cookie - a cookie aimed at identifying unique visitors and tracking visitor sessions on the site - we use this cookie for analytical purposes, as we are interested in how long you spend on our site and what pages you have actually read.

TSxxxxxxxx (where x is replaced by a random series of numbers and letters) - session cookie - security cookies aimed at preventing (as far as possible) network attacks.

Facebook cookies aimed at better advertising - this cookie will help deliver our advertising to people who have already visited our website when they are on Facebook or a digital platform powered by Facebook Advertising.

XSRF-TOKEN - session cookie - session cookies intended to help site security in preventing cross-site request forgery attacks.

RequestID - session cookie - cookie that aims to track visitor behavior and measure website performance - again only for analytical purposes and enhanced marketing campaigns.

Storage of the cookies

The timeframe in which a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on the status of that cookie, which can be a persistent cookie or a session cookie. Session cookies remain in the system until you stop browsing and persistent cookies remain until they expire or are deleted.

Most of the cookies we use are persistent and will expire between 30 minutes and 2 years after they are downloaded to your device. Read the next section for more information on how to control cookies to learn how to delete them before they expire.

How to manage cookies?

You can control cookies in various ways. You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish - see aboutcookies.org for details. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. However, if you do this, you may need to manually adjust some preferences each time you visit a site, and some services and functionality may not work. Please keep in mind that deleting or blocking cookies may have a negative impact on your experience and certain parts of the site may no longer be fully accessible. You can choose what kind of cookies you accept using the cookie settings.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can choose whether to accept cookies in your browser settings, often found in the "Tools" or "Preferences" menu. For more information on how you can change your browser settings or how you can block, modify or filter cookies, visit either your browser's "Help" file or the website www.allaboutcookies.org.

Many of the advertising or tracking services mentioned above give you the opportunity to opt out of being tracked by their systems. You can read more about the information they collect and how to opt out of being monitored in their privacy policy links listed above.
